Re: Have I ****ed up?Oh my God, just ask the relevant person at your uni!(Original post by pinda.college)
It's reassuring to know someone else has the same grading system
So those percentages I said are right? When you say level 4 do you mean the second year and what do you mean by 'ast 20'? Does your university have a similar view for first year students going onto their second year? (as in 100 credits + a fail is allowed to progress.) Also I thought it was second and third year modules that count towards obtaining an honours

Re: Have I ****ed up?
Why would you pay for university, and, far more importantly, why would you use taxpayer money to subsidise your university fees, if you cannot even be bothered to go to lectures?
It's a damn disgrace, and highlights the fact that university should be for intelligent people that want to go to lectures and who want to learn and who make use of the opportunity they have at university, not people who just want to chill for 3 years and squander everyones time and money at a time when nobody has any. -
Re: Have I ****ed up?People on here will know a) how things work at their own uni and b) how things might work at your uni, but for a definitive answer, TSR isn't much help I'm afraid.(Original post by pinda.college)
Sorry guys, will email someone at university.
I am only asking on here because a lot of you guys know this kind of stuff. -

I did not intentionally miss the lectures, I was physically and mentally unable to go to them at the time because of family problems. Beleive me, I really wish I could have gone to them and done well in the module however, I just couldn't at the time. I do not want to chill, I want to do well and get good grades, that is why I made this threadDo not assume that I missed those lectures intentionally because I didn't. I had to go home during my second semester because of personal family issues, thus I was unable to attend a majority of the late lectures for one of my modules. I am not proud of it however, it was out of my control. I never take my education for granted, especially when I am pay over 3k per year for my degree.

Re: Have I ****ed up?Yes this, but they won't cap you at the minimum pass rate(Original post by pinda.college)
I have not considered applying for mitigating circumstances however, I think it may just be easier for me to retake a few assignments. -
Re: Have I ****ed up?
I emailed the help desk at university and their response was that if I get my last 20 credits to make up 100 (fingers crossed I do.) Then I will be allowed to proceed onto the second year however, if I fail that module then I must retake the failed module. However, I will most likely retake the failed module anyway.
