I think so. I mostly wear jeans, though. 'Leaking' doesn't bother me though- it's happened a few times. Obviously I try to avoid it! But I tend to forget about things, so it's just an accident. Don't know why people get embarrassed about it. It's just period blood, everyone knows what's going on down there and if they're bothered it's their problem.

Once I was caught short, I made a makeshift pad out of a few hundred pieces of toilet roll and I was wearing shorts. When I was standing in the gift shop/cafe (we were at a stately home) it fell out onto the floor. I thought it was funny....

I use the mooncup since 7 years and it never leaked, so this color thing is something i don't have to think about...
How do you use those things when you're out of the house? You have to rinse it out before you put it back in right?

I'd never wear white troussers purely out of paranoia that this would happen.

yes you should defintely rinse it... I personally don't have to change (=empty) it very often, but if I do know that I'm gonna be out all day and only will have access to public toilets, I take a small waterbottle in my handbag...that works perfectly if you have any other question, don't hesitate!!!

I will wear anything, no need to resrtic yourself just because you're bleeding.

Just make sure to go to the toilet more to change tampons on time.

Well, yeah, but there's being "hygienic" and then there's being "uptight" too.
Seriously, what would you want me to do- go bright red and cry with embarrassment? Loathe my accident-prone self? Hmm, think I prefer the alternative.

I think this is really a problem....why are people so grossed out about periods? If you'd be ashamed to be "caught in the act" almost or you're so hyper-bothered about hygiene, I guess it'll be me who gets the easy ride and you who spends a lot of time being uncomfortable. Good choice you're making there...
    You go girl!
