    Question 12iii)

    Could someone point out where the triangle is. I have found the area of 15 but you need to add the area of the triangle, but I can't see it.

    The lines AO and AB plus the x-axis.

    Ok, thanks.

    But why can you use base*height. The triangle is very unusual. And when I worked out 15 was that the bit below the x-axis.
