How did everyone find it? I did physics and chemistry. They weren't too bad but I had no idea what the centripetal force equation was!

Chemistry was so easy ! the only bit which i thought was difficult was when they asked about the equibirum when you increase pressure ..what would the % yield be? i wrote % yield would increase as the pressure increase but i got stuck on how to explain why this happens !

physics- iodine 127 and MRI scanner - it was just nonsense half of the paper was about iodine! and the last question about centripetal force was annoying..

Biology - failed ! but i loved the question about bicycles .. it was common sense !

Why is Iodine-127 used in an MRI scanner?

Why is Iodine-127 used in an MRI scanner?
It doesn't emit any kind of radiation, therefore it safer to use as it doesn't cause any damage to the healthy cells. That's what I wrote.

Biology was a bit eerie, though. I spent the last week psyching myself about remembering DNA processes, hormones, and stuff like that and it turned out that the exam was environment-based :/

Physics was easy though, I missed one questions about the diameter of that London Eye thing. How the hell would you do that?! Also, what is that centripetal force? I completely ignored it and elaborated on something else. Overall Biology Chemistry and Physics were tough this month. Hope the grade boundaries are low.

Ha you know when it asked 'Why bicycles are not 0% emission' I thought it said recycling, and I did this amazing answer!

I did the chemistry today higher.
Can someone tell me what was the answer for the last question. The one about maximum mass produced from 1 tonne. And the question on solid silver and molten soduim chloride....

I have probably screwed this question up, but I got something like 4.8 tonnes lol

Are the grade boundaries really that low? I done all 3 today. For the biology the one about how cyclist reduce emissions, how are they not emissions free? I said its to do with the production

yeah, i said they burn fossil fuels when making the bikes so it's not tottally green

Yes they are, look on the Edexcel website and search for grade boundaries. They've been relatively low in the past few years. Also as for the cyclist question, you did it right. I put that if all people were to cycle to work it would contribute to the carbon dioxide emission as they all 'exercise'' whilst cycling.
