I'm not the fittest person by far, but even I haven't found the burpee particularly strenuous. Though, yeah I find pushups a little difficult but I haven't pulled anything . Do you do warmups first before going into your main exercise (such as simple stretching which Spontological suggested)?

I don't really do any kind of exercise normally. I was just trying to see if I could do a burpee and I failed miserably.

A lot of girls from my school are pregnant but then again, they're Asian so it's a different ball-game to the others. They're more of arranged marriages turning from bad girl to good.
