Re: Does anybody have the "AQA Level 2/iGCSE Further Maths" past papers?Our teacher didn't really care to be honest, haha. He was a pretty bad teacher and we ended up having a Sixth Former who studies A-Level Maths and Further Maths teach us instead after a month. Maths is my best and favourite subject and I got 326/330 in my last GCSE exam(Original post by Becky)
sorry no. Your teacher should have given it to you... well thats what my teacher did. Anyways are you prepared for this exam? what do you think you'll get?? am sooooooooo scared!!!!!!!!!
so I really want the A* with Distinction they're putting in this year. And don't worry about it too much, thankfully it's not a vital qualification like the rest of your GCSEs so the pressure's off for this one ^_^

Re: Does anybody have the "AQA Level 2/iGCSE Further Maths" past papers?Sorry, I didn't know how to reply properly; see my reply above. It has my answer to the question (which may be wrong).(Original post by studentrc)
hey did anyone work that that question where you had to find the coordinates of B??
i couldn't do it at all but the rest was okay.. -
Re: Does anybody have the "AQA Level 2/iGCSE Further Maths" past papers?ahh thats quite clever, i only managed to get the y=3x part(Original post by JonBlake)

Re: Does anybody have the "AQA Level 2/iGCSE Further Maths" past papers?
Ya wat u has had to do was somin real clever en da:
work out line is y=3x (B)
know da equation of other was y= -1/3x+4
y= -1/3x+4 (x9) --> 9y=-3x+36 (A)
(A) + (B) --> 10y= 36 so dis means dat y = 3.6, and x = 1.2 (cos y+3x)
this (1.2,3.6) was da mid point so u is having to do times two for each to get B:
leaving (2.4,7.2)
Easy aint it my brother -

That's really clever Jon! I failed the last two questions, that co-ordinates of B question and the equation of a tangent question but I hope I got a few marks for working! Hopefully the grade boundaries are low, I probably got 40s or 50s out of 70 :/

nobody really has much of an idea of what the grade boundaries could be.... -
I believe x was around 51 degrees, using Alt. Seg. Theorem and Ext Opp Ls of a Cyclic Quad to find the other two angles in the triangle concerning X.(Original post by Sue95)
Did anyone manage to complete the question with the circle where you had to find x? I really struggled with this one but I managed to do the coordinate one which I am so pleased about!

Thank you guys for appreciating my solution to B!

Does anybody have access to the other two papers they could send me?
