Sorry, but I don't think so. I believe in the rubric of the paper it say "Cross through any work you do not want to be marked" or words to that effect.

The last question was one of the easiest I've ever seen even for a back page gcse maths one! Any speculations about what will be on friday's exam? Bearing in mind we've had circle/triangle geometry, co-ordinate geometry, trig identities, simple matrices and complex simplification of algebraic expressions.

In the mark scheme, it says mark crossed out work unless an alternative answer is given

Probably cosine and sine rule.

Overall, both were easier than the specimen papers given to us before the exam.

There was little on the ASTC (CAST rule for others) topic, which may be a good thing.

Paper 2 was a lot easier than Paper 1, but was still hard by any normal GCSE standard
