Paranoia, really confused and really worried for exams
So, basically I have really bad paranoia at the moment, and I'm seriously worried about the implications it's going to have for my exam performance this summer. I've been a good student in sixth form so far, achieving AAB last year. But, I'm getting really worried about this and my first exam is in two weeks.

For whatever reason, I've had paranoia about going blind. I think this stems from a twitch I had a while ago. But, it's gotten really bad, I can't concentrate on things and I can't be bothered with revision because everytime I'm reminded of this phobia I just get really scared and can't do anything. I'm seriously worried this is going to affect my exams.

Does anyone have any tips to reduce this phobia? I just want it gone until after my exams. I really want to do well, and I'm scared this is going to ruin my future.

I can almost guarantee you that you won't be going blind any time soon because your eye twitched. It's an irrational worry

hello , i think it is a good idea to see your GP or other health care professional regarding this ,espically if it is effecting you deeply .

asked for a dr note and discuss with your exam officer in your school if you think it will affect your exam and result .special arrangement can be make . for example , when i had my pyshosis episode in exam , i was given rest break with supervision until i am eventually able to calm down and complete my result .

you could also ask for medication /drugs to help you , although most anti-psychotic wouldnt work until 2-4 weeks , but they might give you something to reduce your anxiety fast .

    good luck x
