    Student Finance & Credit Report
I was wondering, If my credit report was down the toilet so to speak, would I still be eligble for all the funding for university? the tuition loan, maintenance grant, maintenance loan and bursaries or would it be affected at all?

    Thanks

Funding from Student Finance has nothing to do with any credit rating, so a bad credit rating will not affect any entitlement. The only time a bad credit rating may affect you as a student is when you apply for a student bank account and an overdraft.

The overdraft, does at any time for a student overdraft become necessary? Besides being stuck with money for partying etc? I mean with necessities, if the funds do not cover something.

That's up to your own personal circumstances. Some students can live without them, some can't. It would depend on a number of things for example how much you get from student finance, whether you have any parental contribution, whether you have a part time job or how good you are at budgeting with the money you do have.
