Re: Do universities look at A level results when applying for postgraduate? No they don't. Your undergrad scores are enough.(Original post by abdullahmir10)
Hey, i just wanted to know if universities would look at your A level results if you applied to study for postgraduate.
Thanks. -

In the main, no. They've far better evidence to go on.
Rider: I can imagine a very few circumstances under which this might be a consideration. An obvious example here would be the conversion masters in computer science which exist for arts and social science graduates. Here, having been good at history at university is indicative of little beyond a willingness to work hard, but an A level in mathematics implies a degree of numeracy which will prove useful on the course. -
Re: Do universities look at A level results when applying for postgraduate?
Thank you so much everyone. Highly appreciated.
My issue is that i got an AABB in my AS. I have now got an unconditional offer from my university which i have firmed. So no matter what i end up getting now, i will still be doing my undergraduate in that university. That is where i would need to give it my all.
I guess its because of the unconditional offer that i just can not get myself to sit down and study, not at all motivated. Just wanted to know if it is justifiable? Since i have learnt now that when applying for postgraduate, A levels really don't matter. And since i have an unconditional offer to study undergraduate, then it won't make a difference if i don't get good grades in A levels.
