Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012Mr Speaker, is it right to then infer that the PM believes the amount of Citizen's Income should not reflect the basic costs needed to live above the poverty line?(Original post by Rakas21)
It is in effect a single benefit which makes the system much simpler and also did not require excess taxation given the details of the bill. I did however abstain on that bill as i do not agree with the amounts or eligibility and will look to amend these (higher welfare payments>less incentive to work). -
Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012Sadly not.(Original post by stanlas)
Does the Prime Minister have any plans to fight internet trolls?
June or July, largely depends on when Jarred finishes his exams.(Original post by MacCuishy)
When can we expect this budget?
£162 is far above what is required for basic needs and i say that as somebody that has spent time on JSA before university and has parents on benefits.(Original post by JPKC)

Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012Romania were poor and we were average however politics played its part and we had an abysmal result.(Original post by davidmarsh01)
What's your opinion of the UK's place in the Eurovision Song Contest, and that of the position of Romania?
Serbia was best.
I will analyse Litchenstine's banking system and respond at a later date.(Original post by tehFrance)
M. Speaker, I would like to enquire as to the Premier's plans on re-regulating the banking industry to one similar to that of Liechtenstein's
(Also your vacation plans please
)!
None, too poor. -
Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012Liechtenstein! not Litchenstine(Original post by Rakas21)

Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012Further to my question above, will the PM join me in deploring rhubarb as an abomination of all that is right and good?(Original post by Rakas21)

Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012Rhubarb in Pimms? The best use for rhubarb is in a crumble having been stewed in its own juices and a healthy (or not-so) amount of sugar on a low heat. Best dessert in the world is that.(Original post by Mazzini)

Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012I think Romania should have won, I like their song much more than the others. Zaleilah!(Original post by Rakas21)

How do you know? This is the problem with having all bills "stack", we don't actually have a clue about how any of the bills will affect well, pretty much anything. We can guess, but that's the only thing we can do: guess. I'm not sure myself on where I stand on this, but it's something I've been thinking. Why do all bills stay current, like that's the current state of play? It then makes it very hard and inconvenient to create new bills, seeing as we don't have a clue on what things are like. Also, what if I see something IRL I want to write a bill about, then come on here and find out it somehow no longer applies because of some other bill? When people join they'll try to make bills about thing they see in everyday life, not some obscure year old bill that they've never heard of that makes it impossible for them to do this. Personally, I don't see why bills have to stack. Fair enough, we can propose bills, but after we propose them then why can't we go back to tracking RL? It would make things so much easier.(Original post by Rakas21)
The TSR economy is in much better shape than RL. -
Re: Prime Minister's Questions: 29th May 2012This is the model House of Commons. If you don't want to take part in what is essentially a simulation then go run for Parliament. If users want to deal completely with RL then they should stick to the UK Politics general forum - the point here is to show what an alternative legislature might look like. Scrapping that principle would ruin it, as the GRA did a few years back.(Original post by davidmarsh01)

Never tried rhubarb crumble. It's too sour on its own though. -
