    I found it quite easy, however took a turn for the worst at the HTML page. Must have dropped about 6 marks just on that.

    It was hard for me. They made COMP1 easier than previous years so they had to make this a hard one, I guess!
    Lost a lot of marks in HTML like the above user. There were a lot of weird questions!

    The easiest question on the paper was probably the last one

    HTML question screwed me over, and for the last one, was the question about the legislation in a workplace about the Health and Safety legislation? Because thats what i put

    That's what I put down, too.
    What were your two answers?
    I wrote that:
    • computer screens should be at a safe distance from the worker to avoid eye damage.
    • Forgot my second one! haha.

    why did they have to test us like that? Why couldn't they have just asked us to draw out a web page? ;__;

    For the first question, did you put keyboard as just hardware or hardware and software? Technically, a virtual keyboard or keyboard on a touchscreen is software.

    I think its just Hardware, because they its too vague if they are expecting you to think of a virtual keyboard in an exam.

    What was the HTML question? I forgot it, but I remember it seemed easy?

    I remember the styles.css part where we had to label the parts of the tag, which is simple:

    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles.css" />
    1 2 3

    And the id, class and block bit. But what else was there? Because all that is logical.

    It was too vague. However, there was an option for Hardware and Software.

    I left a note saying that it was ambiguous. I also e-mailed them to see their view on it.

    I will post updates.

    If you ask me, I think AQA thought "Well we make COMP1 a little easy for them. Now we should make them fail COMP2"

    I hated that paper, does anyone have the COMP1 and COMP2 unofficial mark schemes or even just the papers. Please, I am so scared about how those 2 went

    This makes me feel a little better. I've surely got 90%+ in the comp1 paper, but I feel like I flunked the comp2 paper :'(

    Re: AQA COMP2 (AS Computing) Exam June 2012
    The comp1 was much easier than expected, so i suppose it was only natural they'd throw in some hellish questions in comp2, like the css/html one. I also took a risk on revising certain hardware fully, rather than all of them slightly. Flatbed scanner i didn't even glance at . I thought the boolean/logic question was easy, after reading it through a few times.
