yes... Don't visit Ikea! No seriously, I'm just waiting for news from the accom office, so I'll know where and how big my room will be. I want it to feel like home and not just a place where I sleep..

Ha, yes! At first was just going to pillage my room, but I'd be visiting quite a bit so I don't want it to be patchy and alien when I come back. So I'm filling an LP cover with pictures to stick up and collage. Coffee table books and NatGeos may be brutally cut up and sacrificed.
Then I guess I'll just get scarves and long skirts from charity shops to slash and drape.

One wall or door in my room is going to be covered with postcards from home (I live in a popular seaside tourist area so there's no shortage of postcards in virtually every shop on the high streets), I've started collecting them already

I have! I have a poster tube with a handful of my favorite posters in ready to go, and i'm making a couple of trips into town to pick up a few new things when i get that sudden surge of excitement to move away

I'm buying things as well got my colour scheme picked out and everything. What really annoying though is you can't take down the curtains

Same, every time I see something cheap or on sale I grab it instead of having a mad rush the week before I leave
