Cant help on specific budget regarding malia since ive never been but would guess £600 is a reasonable budget. With regards to bannk charges-Different banks have different terms on overseas withdrawals. I have a natwest debit card (amongst the worst for overseas withdrawals/transaction fees). The charges I incur are a 2% withdrawal fee (minimum charge is £2) plus Exchange Rate Transaction fee of 2.75%. Apparently most cards arent as bad as this, but it is down to your specific card/bank. If you tell me what card you have will check for you

    £800 should be good enough
