In fact, I have an idea. Why don't they get members of the public, as you suggested do follow other people around and report back to the police. Keep surveillance levels high and unemployment low? -

Re: Is the World anti- English / Anti - British?Not really, the Nazis got people to spy on each other but it was a lot more subtle. Like people being nosy on their neighbours. Our own surveillance operation is far more sophisticated; the Nazis would have loved CCTV. -

How do you know they don't track your movements? Do you check which way the cameras are moving. Or even get to see the footage that's taken of you?

Yes of course the parts that don't have you in it are edited out, why would they let you have information on others? Private entities are also subject to the DPA.

Re: Is the World anti- English / Anti - British?I personally feel most anti-Britishness stems from envy. I get the impression much of the world especially Europe gets annoyed at how Britain thinks it can do it's own thing and be different and not conform with what all the other countries are doing.
Europe is a perfect example. I think many people outside the UK get irritated with Britain been outside the euro, very close to the USA, driving on the correct side of the road, having a strong democracy etc. -
