    Connecting laptop to tv VGA
Have a VGA cable and when I connect it to the TV it says no signal
I have a LG TV and the port I am connecting to says RGB in (PC) but when I go to that input it says no signal. I've used the fn key on my laptop to connect it to the tv but still cant get it to work, any ideas why?

Right click your desktop background>Screen resolution>Detect (There's probably antoher way in your graphics driver panel too).

How many screens does it show and what are the settings for those screens?

Or just upload a screenshot of the window..

What repressor said, but you should also go through your graphics control center..........because your graphics has to detect the other screen and change it's settings to suit your screen.

Around about 5 different screen settings come up, one with laptop and TV, other just TV and the rest if them are to do with projectors with different resolutions.
I click the laptop and TV one but no luck
