Really looking forward to it (even though I've probably only a vague idea of what to expect)! There's nothing like freshers week where I'm from.
Still, free goodies and parties, sounds pretty great

My Freshers Week wasn't really all that. Everywhere was just rammed and the nights out were not the greatest... after a few weeks when we had worked out where was good and on what night, nights out became so much better and I have far too many stories to tell!

I met so many people during Freshers, many of whom I have never seen since! It really helped me come out of my shell and whilst it might not be the 'best week of your life' like many make out, I encourage you to get involved in as much as possible and introduce yourself to as many people as possible.

Jealous you're all doing freshers, mainly because I think it was the only time I have the stamina to go out 9 times in a row!

But seriously, as said above in a few months it will just seem a blur, its fun getting to know people, but literally every night out I've had since has topped it.I met some of my best friends and also people I've never seen or spoken to again. Just enjoy it loads and take advantage of all those pens and dominos vouchers .

Those normally happen a few weeks in, when people have worked out what socs they're going to stay with. In freshers week, they're still trying to recruit as many people as possible

I'm another one who has to say that it won't be the best week of your life. More of a leap from hangover to drunkeness with little inbetween, going out with people you've never met before. Good, yes, but not all it's cracked up to be.
