    Family accommodation
I am a student with a family and I am planning to go to London with my husband, my two-year old son and my mother. Are there any restriction for the number of bedrooms for my family. Can I rent a flat with a living room and a bedroom or my choice should be restricted to two bedrooms flats only?

Anyone who knows more about rules of housing for families could you please help me? Thank you in advance

There's information here on the legal definition of overcrowding in housing, which might help.

Elderly parent needs looking after? Grandmother who is happy to watch over her grandchild ()? Financial reasons (eg, can only afford to live in London with a third source of money)?

There are plenty of reasons. :dontknow:

Well, London is very expensive and our course will be very intense. So, grandmother who is happy to watch over her grand child is much more affordable and reliable than kindergarten, babysitter and house-cleaner!

Well, presumably you don't have a husband and a two-year-old child!
