They're my new shoes! I personally love them and I know a few girls that do, but I'm asking for a majority opinion on here - do you think a guy can wear them (and look straight)? I wear mine with black skinny jeans, an oversized denim shirt, a snap back and wayfarers. I'm really tall and skinny so it does work, I'm just interested in the majority opinion seems as these shoes are getting more popular!

Thanks for replying! I don't care what people think - I'll still wear them if I like them, just interested generally as I'm into fashion and these are becoming increasingly popular!

No offence, but I think that outfit would be enough to make you look gay.

I personally don't like the shoes for either gender, they look like platform shoes and they were weird enough with out the height. If these catch on I will be very surprised.

But no, if a guy wore those shoes with black skinny jeans and an oversized shirt he wouldn't look very straight at all.

    Unless he is gay?

Even I'm gay and wouldn't be seen dead in those ugly shoes they call Creepers.

I hate this whole "they're getting popular, should I get some?". Just get what you like and move on, JESUS.

    Thanks for the replies.

They're quite popular in Liverpool at the minute like, and the guy in Schu in Manchester said they're starting to sell so quick they can't keep up with the supply...

    Edit:

Uhm, by the way I'm not talking about me having them or if I should get them. I've already got them for starters and I'm just speculating whether they'll catch on in mainstream fashion.

Yes of course. If anything I think they look better on guys than they do on girls. I got a pair a few months ago and I've only ever worn them twice, because I feel like they don't go with anything and just look weird on me

Fine. Wear whatever the hell you want. If you care about what other people think, do whatever. If you don't then, let it all hang out

To be fair, here in Liverpool girls going out shopping with curlers in their hair is popular xD

To answer the edited part of your post, I don't think they'll catch on massively but you'll probably see more of them around soon enough.

Also, when I saw the word Creepers, the first thing that came to mind was this:

They look great on girls! I suggest wearing them with tights/leggings and an oversized jumper/shirt/etc.
