Income above threshold - any point applying for Finance?
Long story short, my parents income is above the maximum threshold, so all I will get is a basic loan of £3575, afaik. I'm starting a medicine degree in September, outside of London. (Just mentioning this, because I think some NHS supported courses get bursaries, afaik medicine isn't one of them).

Is there any point in me getting my parents to spend half an hour filling in their details on the website? The way I see it, if I just left the income assessment part incomplete then I would still only get £3575, and so save my parents some time/effort.

    Any advice?

If you know your household income is above the threshold then no, there is no point applying for it to be income assessed, so you should just apply yourself for the minimum and not get your agents to support your application.
