Edexcel AS Music Technology Listening Exam 28/5/12
Think there are a couple of Music Tech students on here, and it's been over 24 hours - how did you find the listening exam?
Personally, I thought it was great! The only thing that really threw me was the stuff about sampling rates and bit depths. That, and saying Get On Your Feet was part Flamenco... :s -
Re: Edexcel AS Music Technology Listening Exam 28/5/12
Was more difficult than any of the past papers I did beforehand, some of the questions were stuff that pretty much nobody would have known? I was left with emotional scarring after finishing early and listening to Pebble in my Shoe for 45 minutes. Worst of my A Level exams and I expected it to be the easiest!

Re: Edexcel AS Music Technology Listening Exam 28/5/12I think they were looking for Latin American. Gloria was used as an example of Latino Pop a couple of years ago.(Original post by ThatSBKid)

I thought the exam was alright, a few pebbles in the shoe questions though.
I was wondering if anyone remembered one of the songs - not the punk rock, dance, Ella Fitzgerald, World Music or step into my office but the other one. Realllllly has slipped my mind. -

Step Into My Office Baby
(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me
Got A Pebble In My Shoe
Carcass
Crystal Clear
That was everything on our exam - I guess you meant (There's) Always Something There To Remind Me, but I thought I'd list them all just in case. :P
