Student finance
So i filled out my student finance, i just have some quick questions about it.
Is it possible to change the bank account number that you have put in?
If you have said that you are going to be living at home and then change your mind and decide to live at University is this possible and will student finance cover me??
It only took my 30min to fill it out, did i do something wrong?
I also have another question of topic but related to University,
If i do a first year from a mid table University is it possible for me to get transferred to Imperial/Cambridge/UCL for my second year?? What is the process for doing this?? and what is the deadline for this?
Ty for reading replies are much appreciated

Re: Student finance
I think you can change your bank account - i saw a button for it on the form and I'm also counting on it being possible as I will want to change mine soon too lol
I'm also fairly sure that they should be happy to give you funding for living at uni, you just need to tell them asap I expect. -

There's an option when you first log into student finance, before you click on your application at the bottom of the page that gives you the option to change your bank details, you can also see when your due to get you payments from there aswell.
As for finishing it in 30 mins, i think that is should of taken longer.. mine took about an hour because i had to get both my parents info, maybe you chose the option to calculate how much you would get NOT based on Household income (How much your parents earn)
Its not possible to switch universities half way trough a course. each uni has there own way of examining their students, its not like in GCSE or A levels were the school picks the exam boards the uni it self is the exam board. if you wanted to change uni's you would have to apply to that uni and start from the beginning
Hope i helped
P.S i'm kinda a nerd who researches thing intensively so i know exactly what i'm doing loool

Re: Student financeYou can transfer universities as first years are generally pretty similar across most universities, but you're probably not going to get into Oxbridge/UCL/Imperial etc...because they either wont accept transfers, or will be full. Decent unis will accept transfers, but you're unlikely to get an improvement on relatively mid ranking. It also depends on how closely the courses match up, because each university is different, you may not get all the same modules as students at another university, making a transfer impossible.
I transferred from York to Liverpool, both of which are similarly ranked for my course, Liverpool's maybe a bit better, but out of the top 10 going by the usual rankings on my course.
You can't apply to a mid table uni to avoid competition on applying and to lower the pressure on your A levels, and then transfer to a top uni, unis will also generally require that you meet their A level offer as well as giving you a first year university mark to meet. If you do want to transfer then you do it by ucas again, but with 'entry point 2' on the application. You'll want to contact the universities that you're interested in transferring to and ask if they'll consider your application first though.
