    S2 - Poisson Distribution question
there are 5 service booths, each booth can see 9 people per hour. I want to model the waiting time where people arriving wait no longer than 10 minutes to be seen at a service.
how do i use Poisson here?

    data as follows:

The average of patients coming per hour over a 3-hour interval are: 215, 222, 217
You may also need to know the average of all data for the 3 hours is 224.6

If you need extra data let me know.

    ???

What do you know about adding Poisson distributions? And what do you know about waiting times of Poisson distributions?
I'm not sure what you're talking about with the 10 minutes though.

What exactly are you asking, can you state the question precisely?
