As long as you ensure you have a fairly balanced diet, you will have the necessary vitamins and minerals, as well as everything else you need:
Fruit and vegetables should take up about a third of your diet. Things like bread, rice, potatoes and pasta should take up another third of your diet. Milk and dairy foods should be eaten in moderation because of their high saturated fat content, but they're an important source of calcium. Meat, fish, eggs and beans all contain protein and essential amino acids. Then finally foods rich in sugar and fat which should be eaten in moderation and used as occasional treats. -
