Re: Country you would least like to live inI'd consider myself pretty highly educated...until a couple of years ago I thought New England was a state.(Original post by Hype en Ecosse)

Just trying to utterly destroy the last vestiges of faith in humanity. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inIt's okay. I love and tolerate too much to lose faith in humanity.(Original post by Norton1)

Just a few months ago I discovered that a "teenager" was someone whose age ended in a number which ended with -teen.
We all have mind farts, I just wanted to be ironic with the brony reference to Stacey.
I like to keep the mantra of the "Lucky Ten Thousand" xkcd comic, in general. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inWhuh?(Original post by Hype en Ecosse)

What did you think it meant? I don't even think it's stupid I just wanna know! -
Re: Country you would least like to live inWhen I was a kid, I was always very curious about when one became a teenager. I was told your teenagedom begins at 13, and ends at 18 - where you become an adult. So I never made the link between the two concepts since nineteen violates that.(Original post by Norton1)
Whuh?
What did you think it meant? I don't even think it's stupid I just wanna know!

Re: Country you would least like to live inSo when was the last time you voted for your government? Could you right this instance walk into a public place and start openly criticising the government without any repercussions? Could you do so over the internet without any repercussions? Can you freely access websites such as youtube, google, facebook, wikipedia, twitter, blogspot or yahoo?(Original post by Voice of Logic)
I have a lot of freedom here, more so than in the UK. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inI can voice my opinion on different religions and ethnic groups without fear of repercussions, I have a lot of freedom in China.(Original post by Greenlaner)

I CAN access google, yahoo and wikipedia.
I do not care about facebook and twitter or any other social media rubbish.
I can not access youtube but i can access many other video hosting websites that have similar content, music videos, documentaries etc.
You should try living here before criticising. It is a much better place to live than the UK. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inAsia is generally a lot better than South America. There is not a single developed country in South America: at least Asia has Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong (also Taiwan, Malaysia, Turkey and Israel are all pretty nice, and even somewhere like India you can live like a king if you have the money).(Original post by G8D)
I have 2 continents I would never consider living in and that's Asia and Africa. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inNo thanks. My decision is based on the disgusting cultures, not whether they are "developed" or not.(Original post by Copperknickers)

Though South America isn't really somewhere I'd consider either. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inWhat is wrong with Japanese or Hong Kong culture? It's not really any different to Western Culture minus the superficial stuff like religion and food. Hong Kong isn't even particularly collectivist, and even Japan isn't as disciplined and conforming as people think.(Original post by G8D)
