Re: Country you would least like to live inNothing, I just had a look at my world map and thought that the countries in Eastern Europe seem least interesting to me (personally). I'd like to live in Africa (already did, was amazing), in Latin America, in Asia (India(Original post by Adman32)
Whats wrong with Poland?
) etc. because I find the cultures interesting and the nature outstanding. Because Poland is neighbouring my home country its geography and climate aren't that different and as my own country has a higher standard of life, I just don't see any reason to ever live in Poland.

Re: Country you would least like to live inThat would be awesome! I'd get to come to England for the year(Original post by fuze-mo25)
I'd say Iran.
would be lovely to see the changes if everyone from 1st world countries swapped with people from deprived countries for lie a year! i would love to see our change in behaviour
Honestly, I don't see what all the fuss behind the UK is. I'd absolutely love to live there–anywhere in the UK, it really doesn't matter–for a while.

Re: Country you would least like to live inagreed! that would be pretty amazing, we'd start appreciating what we have a lot more!(Original post by fuze-mo25)

Re: Country you would least like to live inNot necessarily- rather an appreciation that a lot of what we have isn't really necessary. Going to my small local supermarket after 10.5 months in a very poor country was bewildering and daunting, the amount of unecessary choice available gave me a headache.(Original post by Issy123)

However what it taught me more than anything else is that people are, essentially, very similar the world over. Work, money, sex, food, kids and relationships occupy peoples minds everywhere- cultural differences are really mostly rather cosmetic. -
Re: Country you would least like to live inthere are lots of differences I've been to various countries in Africa and the middle east and people are more relaxed and freindlier there whilst the people in European countries tend to be more stressed and constantly busy(Original post by standreams)

Re: Country you would least like to live inWell, apart from the 'friendlier' aspect which isn't true (people in Africa tend to be very friendly towards white people which doesn't mean they are friendlier among each other then Europeans among each other) this relaxed habit is not necessarily positive. This habit (including unpunctuality etc.) at the workplace and within the African world of business is a major hindrance in regard to development.(Original post by fuze-mo25)

Re: Country you would least like to live in
South Africa - I have lots of close family there and they would just transplant themselves in my house and never leave until 3am in the morning. I've been there lots of times for holiday and I know for sure that "privacy" does not exist in my family's dictionary. And the crime rate is a bit scary.

Re: Country you would least like to live inThat pretty much sums up the american population.(Original post by Nihilum)
Any country other than the U.S.
Why?
America #1 (we also have the best flag in the World) -
Re: Country you would least like to live inReally? Some people make me laugh. There are countries with worse crime rates than SA, while others are having a war or in a middle of a revolution. So you would rather live in Mexico, North Korea, or even Syria? I used to live there and I would happily return there.(Original post by ChocoholicPolyglot)

Yes, crime rate is a bit high, but if you are careful, it's actually better than most European countries including the UK. -

America #1 (we also have the best flag in the World)Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Re: Country you would least like to live in
england? you're a moron... you would rather live in the countless places where people have very little rights? support? things like education etc?
i am not saying england is the best but saying it's the place you'd least like to live is stupid and ungrateful.
