Re: What club do you hate and why?Say what you want about Chelsea's tactics, it's your opinion but Drogba and Cech's success has nothing to do with luck.(Original post by Albert123456)
Man United, Chelsea and Madrid.
United plays boring football, they have arrogant fans who think United can compete with the best in Europe with it's current team, their players are divers and they have the help of referees. Also Ferguson doesn't get punished for any of his comments about refereeing, unlike other managers.
Chelsea play anti football, defense the whole time, they think they are actually the best in Europe (pfft) and they glorify people like Cech or Drogba who simply got lucky. Also, they have ***** in the team like Terry.
Madrid, because of Mourinho's arrogance, their inability to admit defeat as well as their constant pressure on referees in Spain. Also arrogance and self glorification of their players. And their brutal play, pepe, alonso etc.
Football rivalry is the best sort of rivalry.(Original post by Gob Bluth)
So much hate in this thread. When people are writing essays on why they despise something, you just know their lives are full of bitterness and self pity if they are to hate something in football that much to get so pissed off.
As for classifying a whole group of fans by a minority. It's really hilarious how much this point comes in to the debate. All clubs have their cretin supporters. I know a bunch of idiots who support Swansea who have been done for racist abuse etc. Yet the media don't bother with this. Yet when a Liverpool fan shouts racist abuse in a match this gets the media attention. Many threads on here were made about it and all. I just think everything stinks of hypocrisy. I honestly think Liverpool get a lot of bad PR. I don't think it helped having Dalglish back and the way everything has been handled this season. Nothing short of awful. But this could have been covered up by good PR. It's just this department has seemingly let the club down. But all it is if it didn't happen would have just been good spin. Someone like Rodgers is actually likeable to other fans and is very respectable. I honestly think a lot of it is just a vicious circle with the club and the media. And the media is just so powerful it's quite scary.
The TomDixie guy is the funniest bitter i've read here though. When describing people from the same city he tries to make out Liverpool fans are the anti christ and yet Everton fans are the chosen ones. Clearly bitter. It's just not healthy for such a hatred. Rivalry is one thing, hatred is another.
Could write a lot more but leave it like this aha.
Take it easy and remember football is just that. A game. So lighten the **** up and enjoy it for what it is

Re: What club do you hate and why? We're not discussing Messi and this has nothing to do with him, he plays in another country.(Original post by Mess.)
As did Messi but nobody seems to care about that and accepts it is what is said in his culture
You can't justify someone's actions by saying "he did it too". -
Re: What club do you hate and why?Didn't Liverpool refuse to play on the day of the anniversary?(Original post by L18)
Don't blame LFC for that, you bellend. Blame the FA.
I don't know a single LFC fan who wants a minutes silence at any game other than the nearest home game to the anniversary.
If you didn't milk it so much nobody else would feel the pressure to join in. -
Re: What club do you hate and why?Firstly I think you will find fergie would have been one of the first people to congratulate man city when all was said and done and we did lose that title at Everton. How are we sore losers, I think fergie is one of the more honest managers in post match putting his hands up when his tactics aren't good enough or players, look at last years champions league final.(Original post by Royale)
Man U, the fans are arrogant, the players are arrogant, the manager is arrogant and they're sore losers.
For example Evra : 'We gave City the title'

Not to forget their overrated mediocre players, they're boring 'football' and the fact that 2/3's of their fans are not from Manchester and have never been to Manchester let alone Old Trafford.
Overrated mediocre players winning the title mmmkay?
Boring football, admittedly it hasn't been up to scratch this season but far from boring, if you watched football you know that. Look at stoke for boring this season or villa.
And this always makes me laugh about people complaining about the fans not being from Manchester. Sorry I wasn't born in Manchester and wasn't able to be conceived at old Trafford and blah blah blah. It doesn't inhibit you as a fan. I go to old Trafford now quite a lot and what I actually hate is people who blindly support the club and know sod all about football, calling a ref a ****er purely cause it was a decision against man utd, I have even taken my brother to old Trafford who knows sod all about man utd, does that make him more of a fan than someone who know about the entire youth set upand who are the up coming stars through the ranks and reads daily about man utd but lives a hundred miles away?
Secondly there isn't a team in the world that doesn't man utd fanbase, that's why every year the Chelsea man city Liverpool do America and Asian tours to tap into those markets as well. Just because we have been successful in getting into these markets mean opposing fans get pissed off.
Sorry we dominated the league through raising players through the youth set up and adding established players within our budget whilst keeping our wage bill to revenue around 50% meaning we are able to grow and keep competitive through correct management of the club and the business. -
Re: What club do you hate and why? It's true though and was probably taken out of context anyway.(Original post by Royale)

If dropping 8 points in 3 games of a title run-in after being 8 clear with 6 games to go isn't giving the title away then I don't know what is.
I could list many reasons to dislike Man U but that's a poor, poor one. -
Re: What club do you hate and why?
Who really cares its football. It so international in terms of the players who makeup clubs they have no identity anyway surely? I lost interest in football because the teams have no tie to the palce they represent. E.g. Chelsea should be made up of players who are from Chelsea

Re: What club do you hate and why?
(Chelsea Fan)
I don't find it hard to admit that Chelsea got incredibly lucky against Bayern Munich and Barcelona, (although you have to admit they defended and countered quite well in both games), but what I don't understand is why fans of other clubs have to say that 'I'll never watch the champions league again' or 'This just shows how rubbish the champions is, it's embarrasing'. It was a miracle for Chelsea to come back from the 3-1 in Napoli. Would people be saying that, for example the FA cup is rubbish if Stoke won it? Probably not. -
Re: What club do you hate and why? With a name like ahmed i could have guessed(Original post by U.Ahmed)
Chelsea - No History whatsoever, **** football, even ****ter players.
Tottenham - Cocky, wi agaist all small teams, 'ohhh we can be champions'. Chsnnel 5
Man U - Because of all of their London supporters who have probably never been near OT.
Man C - Steal all our players.
Barca - Boring me now, plus they always knock us out.
Bet you can't guess which team I support? -
Re: What club do you hate and why?If my opinion if you chose to support a team that you had no connection with then you're not a real fan.(Original post by craglyboy)

For example, if your Dad supports them or your from the area then fair enough. If you actively chose to support Man United off your own back, then you're simply a gloryhunter. -
Re: What club do you hate and why?Another swift deflection of the subject again.(Original post by Wilfred Little)

Boring you lad. -
Re: What club do you hate and why?LOL if this rule was applied in all sports they'd have a ****ing awesome polo team.(Original post by jimmyjimmyjimmy)

Re: What club do you hate and why? They shouldn't have to.(Original post by Wilfred Little)
Answer the question son.
Did they or did they not refuse to play on the anniversary of Hillsborough? -
Re: What club do you hate and why?I understand that but I Come from an area where there isn't a league side within 50 miles my dad doesn't support football. I chose man utd because they are the first team I watched but why can't people choose them just because they like the way a team plays or a particular player.(Original post by TomDixie)

I agree that there are plenty of fans who support man u just cause they win, but you should be a fan of football before a team I will quite happily watch any match on tv, I hate people that will only watch motd highlights of their team only or don't enjoy the sport as a whole and profess to being a "supporter"
I live in Manchester now so I can say I'm a united fan without the glory hunter crap :P -
Re: What club do you hate and why? Most Asian's that I know, support either Liverpool or Man United.(Original post by TrollerCoaster)
With a name like ahmed i could have guessed
Good attempt at trying to be funny though.
