You have luiz suarez in your team.
Also, Ronaldo isn't a cocky bell as much as he seems like it. That's just straight up hating because if he was in your team you would be bumming him. Also, gerrard gets away with beating up people in nightclubs. That's all I have to say.

They call everton bitters, but I think liverpool are just as bitter if not more. They hate on every club that's better than them and say that they're better because of their history.

Although, I agree with fulham and bolton. They're the most boring clubs there have ever been in the PL, they have no ambition whatsoever, mark hughes left and he said that the players were just 'happy to stay in the PL.' Would rather watch stoke every week.
I make no excuses for Suarez. I hate him. He has made my support of Liverpool all the more difficult. As it happens, I'm not into the EPL much anymore anyway. I'm more of an NFL man myself these days :P

How on earth can you look at Ronaldo and say he isn't cocky? I mean come on. Yeah he scores some incredible goals, but he is such a showboater it's painful. His diving did my nut in too, but unfortunately it seems more and more players do it now so it's not like it's peculiar to him.

The Gerrard situation is weird. Seeing as he is my favourite player, I'm probably always going to defend him, so I'm probably not the best to talk about it. Considering that famous people always get displayed badly in the press and that he was found not guilty, it's probably not fair to say he definitely got away with "beating someone up" though. Maybe he did, but there isn't any real proof as to whether he did, or whether it was self defence as he claims. An impossible situation to manage for us, as we aren't involved.

There are a lot of Liverpool fans who say "ahh history blah blah". Whilst I do support that our history should have a bearing on our outlook as a club, we are by no means the best team at the moment. According the EPL we're not even the best team in Merseyside anymore, so I'm not one of these deluded nutters who thinks we are still Number 1 in Europe :L

Ughh. Stoke. Bless them. At least they had that awesome long throw-in thing for a while.

There's a video (albeit a very low quality one) of Gerrard punching the guy first, then all his mates laying into him so I don't know how anyone can say there isn't any real proof, or it was self defence. To be fair though the guy wouldn't play Phil Collings for him, what a bastard.

Bellamy is another lovely player you have http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...wsstory.sport3

Hold on a minute.. at what point did I say " Liverpool are an amazing football team where every player is perfect and a true gentlemen" ? That's right I didn't.

Yes, I don't like Craig Bellamy, and I'm embarrassed to have Luis Suarez on the team. But a few bad apples are not the only criteria as whether or not to like a club, as otherwise nobody would be able to support anybody.

And not being an arse, but have you got a link to the video? Not calling you a liar, I just genuinely haven't seen any videos about it.

    Ok, fair enough with suarez.

You haven't watched him for real madrid atm and are using his united days to make the judgement, he's a different person to how he was at united, mourinho seems to have done wonders for him, the guy doesn't dive as much anymore.
Ronaldo does still do those stepovers whenever he's on the ball, but over the past season he's been such a team player for real madrid, he tracks back and goes forward and provides assists too.

Then again when di maria and pepe are your teammates they'll make you look like an honest player regardless of how much of a **** you are.

Agree with you on liverpool and the history argument.

Rory delap is getting on now, I think that they're trying to get ryan shotton to do long throws but he's nowhere near as good.

funny people have valid reasons for hating clubs, then when it comes to talk about man utd it's ..... " oh they are all glory hunters"... well if that's your only reason to hate, It's quite flattering, actually.

Maybe he is a media scapegoat, but so is john terry with the wife cheating case. Anyway luis suarez bit a player and has racially abused a player and is also a notorious diver, makes it pretty easy to scapegoat him when you have evidence.

The biting i don't condone, there is no excuse for that, he did apologise and do admit he goes down too easily on occasions.

The racism incident never provided any evidence, only Evras word over his. I believe cultural differences are what created the problem here.
The english media obviously dont understand this, as everyone who is not english is foreign and their cultural backgrounds are non-important.

Are we disputing this here, suarez did it as a wind up. It's obvious evra was getting worked up over it so he kept at it otherwise he would have stopped. He admitted to saying the word 7 times. God we had this argument over TSR already.
Now it's obvious evra was trying to play the wounded dog with the winding up of suarez in the match at old trafford but besides that he still said the word. Suarez isn't a racist, but he was winding him up and if this is condoned soon it will be ok to say what terry said because it was heat of the moment or cultural differences.

Reflex because they chucked me out for being insanely drunk like that's NOT to be expected in a nightclub, you buffoons. Although it hurts to say because their selection of alcoholic beverages and the smile it brings to my face when i saw the cheap price was quite the good experience.

Not really, get off your high horse. Having glory hunters is far from flattering, my mate who's a chelsea fan tried to say that we lost 5-0 to genk in the CL, that pissed me off so much despite me being a chelsea fan, or how he just continuosly slates torres and the younger players who actually were playing well last season saying that we're fine with using the old guard all the time.

That happened to you too. It's such a **** club as well. In fact I'm going to make a thread on this when I'm bothered to.

I don't really want a long argument over but Uruguay has never really had any racism problems in their past so as a culture they don't see what the big thing is with racism. To them to call someone 'black' is to just state what they are, so calling Evra a 'little black man' is both baffling as to why Evra go wound up but then amazing because he is getting annoyed by saying exactly what he is. To him it is the same as saying to a small person 'mate you are ridiculously small' and the guy getting ridiculously wound up. These aren't my words but the BBC's South American correspondent on the 5Live World Phone in about 2 weeks ago.
So whilst Suarez should have been directed by the club to apologise once he understood he had caused offence, it is understandable why he didn't apologise at first as he wasn't offending Evra by the culture he had been brought up in. This is clear by his admittance of using the word. If you knew what you were doing why would you then admit to doing it when it was just your word against the other?

Terry's was completely different as he has grown up in a culture where he knows it is wrong and he was saying it to another English person who he knew would take clear offence.

    Chelsea.
Bought success. Would be a mid-table team if it weren't for a Russian gangster buying them trophies. Play Anti-football that I wouldn't watch for free. Horrible, plastic fans. No class or tradition whatsoever. Also seem to attract ***** like Terry, Cole, Mourinho etc.

    Man City rapidly joining Chelsea.

Tottenham, simply because I'm an Arsenal fan. Bitter fans.

    -------

    Least hated: Fulham, Everton, Newcastle.

Didn't Chelsea finish 4th or 5th the season before Roman took over? And were finishing around that part consistently for a few years :beard:

Seem to remember Chelsea having more debt than Leeds United at the time of RA's takeover. Chelsea were never a top team before RA. Likely to finish anywhere from 15th to 5th.

Suarez had been playing football in the country for about a year, so I fail to believe that he didn't understand racism. Him and Evra were also in an argument and trying to wind each other up, when Suarez referred to his colour. And then once it had become painfully clear that Evra was offended and felt that he had been racially abused, Suarez still refused to admit any wrong doing at all and started playing the victim card. I don't know about you but if I found out that I had offended someone through my cultural ignorance, the first thing I would do would be apologise and not go on the offensive.

That's also assuming that Suarez was telling the truth, and ignoring Evra's claims that Suarez said he kicked him because he was black, and that Suarez doesn't talk to blacks.

    1997 - 6th
    1998 - 4th
    1999 - 3rd
    2000 - 5th
    2001 - 6th
    2002 - 6th
    2003 - 4th

Plus in that period 2 FA Cups, 1 League Cup and 1 Cup Winners Cup.

Chelsea were a good (maybe not quite 'top') team before RA and had some quality players. RA just helped with the final push.
