You are not fat in the slightest, whether socially or medically. I second the opinion that you may have body dysmorphic disorder if, and only if, this is a consuming matter for you. In that case, don't be afraid to take help from someone.

If you seriously think you're fat and it's affecting your self esteem then you need some help because you really are pretty skinny IMO.


You're fine, you're not fat at all, hell I'd almost wager you're underweight for your height, though certainly if not you must be within the normal range.

I've given up with anon. I'll just take the identified paranoia label. Thank you, everyone who replied. R.E. body dysmorphia, I've been diagnosed with it but it can be very tricky to identify if it's the disorder or if I'm actually seeing what's there.

That's not particularly fair or accurate, actually. I can't actually look at my body without seeing something that apparently isn't there - I genuinely have no idea what I look like as my eyes don't seem to work right.
