Heya

I'm going to be doing an experiment tomorrow and we have to do our own concentrations. How will i make up:

5cm³ of 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1% per cent sucrose?
5cm³ of 1 percent sucrase?

What other concentrations could i use for sucrose? Thanks. Help much appreciated and rep :p:

Your probably going to be provided with the 1% Sucrose & 1% Sucrase solutions, then just required to alter conc of given conc.

i,e
0.25 = 1/4 thus
1 part sucrose : 3 parts water.
0.5 = 1/2 thus
just use 2.5 cm3 of water : 2.5 cm3 of surcose.

What other concentrations can you use- just a different ratio of the number of parts water to sucrose. so you could do 0.01, 0.9 etc...
