    3 Price hike 3.6%
Anyone else pissed off about this?

Its only 3.6% and I am on a 20£ a month contract. Find it really annoying that I agreed to what I thought was a fixed price contract and it turns out they can up the price with no means of cancellation.

Yep I got this annoying notice too. But under the terms and conditions (in most contracts, including this one) they can increase charges at the maximum rate of inflation. Inflation is 3.6% so that's what they've done I believe. It's not a huge amount (72p on my £20 contract) but I guess they had no other choice. Three isn't exactly rolling in money, unlike these energy companies that have increased their prices at a phenomenal rate over the last 5 years and the government has done nothing about it.

Also, FYI Orange increased their's by 4.3% earlier this year.

Guys, it's only 3.6%, is that such a big deal? It's like 1 soda drink in trade for great communication? I'd rather have the phone then the drink...

the main issue is that there was no offer to cancel (virgin offered I believe although tis due to them raising it more than 3.6%)
and 94% of people have no clue that the contract they go on is not actually a fixed price.
