In p2, there were questions on something to do with alpha radiation and a liquid, then why repeats were used, and then interpreting a graph on different radiation types.

In p1, there was a question asking to show that the frequency of a 1mm wave was 3x10^11.

That's all the other questions I can remember. I am trying to think of the rest. Hope this helps

Another for p1 was an advantage of DAB (1 mark), and something to do with interference for 2 marks.
wHAT DID YOU WRITE ABOUT DAB BEING BETTER?

There was also a power=voltagexcurrent question, followed by calculating energy supplied in kwH. There was then a question about a new 10p rate versus a previous 12p/6p rate, and you had to say why it wouldn't save any money, I think.

What did you write for the answer for that

Was it an AC or DC?
The main difference of the two i think is that an AC changes direction while and DC travels in one direction (e.g a straight line across the graph) therefore i wrote that the second current was AC as the direction of the current changed similar to the current in the previous graph.

Power was 2.07 Kw I think (230x9=2070W=2.07Kw) Units of electricity was 2.07x12=24.84 units. Then I said something about how a lot of the electricity units came from things left on overnight, so there was a 4p gain for more units than there was a 2p reduction for, I' m not too sure about it.

Yeah that's what I wrote, 4 marks.for me if the grade boundaries are as low a January we would only need 44/75... Which means about 14,15,15 in each module :O

It was 44 for an A* in Physics in january, probably because it was the first time it was sat (this syllabus), I believe it was also 46 for biology, and 52 for chemistry. Ridiculously low, so let's hope for low boundaries this time as well for all three!

wow those grade boundaries are low! really? where did you hear that from thats kind of made my day because i found this exam so difficult! some of the questions were a bit cheeky because of how they worded them...so much harder than the biology and chemistry exam!

From the OCR Website, and really? I thought biology was the hardest abd chemistry was the easiest, this one was fine, but yep! Some silly questions, wording anyway!

Same here although I did find physics to be more difficult than I thought

Can you remember any other questions from the exam I can add to posts 29, 30 and 32 on page 2?

What did you guys put, for why should the girl repeat her radiation experiment 5 times; and why should scientists do seperate research on spacey stuff ?(Can't remember the exact question )
