The perfect body or World peace?
I was watching Britain Unzipped last night, and when people were asked if they would rather have a perfect body or have world peace, something like 47% of women and 42% or men chose the perfect body. Personally I was pretty shocked by this so just wanted to find out if TSR would provide a much different outcome.

So, would you rather have the perfect body or have world peace?

    Personally I don't think they're comparable.

The 'perfect body' (whatever that is, and that is due to personal opinion) is achievable, just might take a lot of hard work.

However, is world peace really achievable? Can everyone in the world really live in harmony, without turning the whole world communist?

Out of interest, who were these people that they surveyed? Because that may explain a lot of the statistics, say if the cast of The Only Way Is Essex were involved :P

Difficult! Easier to change your body that to create world peace don't you think? Though saying that I desperately need to sort this body out and stop using revision as an excuse for 'snack time' haha

Perfect body, world peace is never going to last. If it's everlasting then i'd porbably pick world peace.

Only if I could look like Eric Saade (Sweden's Eurovision act 2011). If not then I'm afraid I will have to say that I will bring peace to this world of muppets.

The perfect body can be achieved. Even if it does take a long time and hard work etc... On the other hand, World Peace will never be achieved. There will always be someone, or a group, wanting to hurt someone/alot of people, just look at terrorists!

I've got a body that's suited to my needs and even, if you ask the right people, relatively attractive thanks to going to the gym 2 or 3 times per week. I'm not sure I'd make similar progress towards world peace with the same time investment, so if I was offered the choice of that or the perfect body it would seem world peace would be the pragmatic option.

World peace, although that could cause problems regarding population numbers/population development.

Regardless of how near to perfect one's body may be, to put personal betterment (which can usually be easily achieved with a little application anyway) above global security (and all the suffering that the reverse entails) is beyond outrageous, a sign of the times, and a stunning inditement of the perils of liberalism. Plebs cannot be trusted to make sensible/ethical decisions for the greater good

    World Peace...

that's pretty easy and not as difficult as some people are making it out to be.. who would you rather save ~ your mother or your father?

Some people truly are selfish

This. And it's these same people that will end up wondering why they don't lead 'rich' lives in the future.
