Which machine is this alarm on?
Here is a short alarm clip, I was wondering if anyone knows which intensive care machine it comes from?

You have to register for some website to hear it - can you attach it here/link to it somewhere open-access?

:o: Oh yeah, works now. I was looking at the "download file" bit above that.

Anyway, rather annoyingly I recognise the alarm but can't remember what it is. I'll listen out for it today and will let you know later hopefully.

That's what I thought too. I've heard it recently (when my brother was in ICU) and I've been trying to google ventilator alarms to check if I'm right, but haven't had any luck.

I *think* it is a vent alarm for high airway pressures.

It's either that or the vent "disconnected" alarm, I think.

It sounds like an alarm I heard when my partner's grandfather was in hospital, regarding air in the IV tube. No idea if it's actually the same though, just similar.

Lmao, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who wanders around the wards with all sorts of **** going off and have no idea wtf is going on.

Standard vent alarm for low or high pressures.
