where to go for a good beach and nightlife in spain?
    Hey all,

Me and my friend are looking to book a holiday somewhere fairly cheap with a good beach and nightlife, though not to the extent of zante magaluf etc.

Anyone got any good recommendations? We were thinking somewhere in spain but not sure where as places either seem way too wild or way too quiet. If anyone has been somewhere they thought was good in spain, or the rest of europe, please share! (We're 21/22 btw if that makes any difference)

    Thanks!

Hi, I would recommend San Antonio Bay in Ibiza

I have been going there since I was young with my family, and still go now with my sister and we're both similar ages to you. It's not near the wild party place and has such a nice atmosphere. We have always stayed in 'Ses Savines' and it's perfect for us. It's right on the beach and you can always walk into San Antonio (10 mins) for the nightlife.

Benidorm! The area of Playa de Levante in particular is considered to be very lively, and the beach is really nice! The town itself isnt as nice as Ibiza but its a really good spot as well! Im going there in one week and i caaant wait.

Can't comment much on nightlife, but a few summers ago, I was on the isle of Menorca and it has some OUTSTANDING beaches. It is 1 hour away by boat to Majorca and about 1.5/2 hours boat ride from Ibiza.

I'd avoid Benidorm lol, I wouldn't want to run the risk of bumping into Madge, Donald and Jacqueline, Mateo or Joyce Temple Savage thank you very much haha :P

It's like a several-miles-long spit of land with a beach and the sea on one side and a beach and lake on the other. It's got clubs and nightlife too, obvs, but the place itself is totally worth it alone!

My family is going on holiday there though and I can't go this summer because I can't get off work so while everyone else is getting a tan, I'll be working in a factory green with envy

I stayed in that hotel last summer. San Antonio Bay is a good shout. I was expecting it to be a dump having gone to zante the year before but it is much nicer than Greece. The nightlife is as much as you would want too.

Salou and Lloret de Mar. Lots of germans, british, dutch and even russians go there in summer. The beach isn't the best attraction (it's ok) but nightlife and clubbing is the way of life there, you won't be dissapointed. In addition, the prices are reasonable (ibiza is ultra expensive).

Disagree. Ibiza is somwhat expensive, but if your looking for VALUE for money then Ibiza is by far the best place to go in Spain.

Obviously Ibiza has the best clubs, the best deejays and the best beaches but be ready for spend a incredibly quantity of money. It's worth it but not everybody wants to spend all the money that they have been saving during the year.
