    Crash higher human biology??
Hi have put on my subject choice form for S6 that I want to do crash higher human biology along with 2 adv highers. This year I did maths, english, chemistry, physics and french (all at higher). Do you think I'd be able to do it with no SG/Int 2 knowledge? And is it hard/interesting etc? Do you think it would be possible to get an A without working insanely hard? :P Thanks

In short, yes. I was in a similar position (Chemistry, physics, english, maths and history for 5th year) and took human bio as a crash and it wasnt that difficult, it did require some work to get the A, but a lot of it is just memorizing name of things. You seem to have a fairly strong science background, so it probably wob't be too great a challenge.
As for interest, I found it very interesting, probably because it seemed so much more relevant than normal biology.

I found it to be a very easy higher, they allowed it to be crashed in 5th year in my school, never mind 6th year. It's quite simple and interesting and very different from normal biology. I really enjoyed it though, the behavioural section/psychology bit was quite good when I did it. And I, as a general rule, hate that stuff :P

Edit: the thing about higher human biology is that there is no SG human biology, only SG normal biology. So lack of SG/int 2 knowledge won't affect you at all, totally different subjects.

I'm thinking of crashing higher human bio along with advanced higher maths and advanced higher physics... do you think that'll be lots and lots of work haha? xD I dunno if i can be bothered working that hard in sixth after all the hard effort in fifth.

Higher human biology is almost no work, just learning the names of things. I'd be more worried about the advanced higher work load

I'd definitely recommend it as a crash higher.
I crashed it this year along with two advanced subjects and it's an easy A to achieve with little work.
Memorise key words and names and you'll be fine
