Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision?
i need AAA for Law, has completed 3 out of 5 exams so far. revision wise ? probs 1 hour-ish a day, sometimes none. stay confident and know your stuff, because at the end of the day, anything could go wrong as soon as you sit down infront of that exam paper REGARDLESS of how many bloody hours of revision/note taking one does at home.

Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision? My school is exactly the same, my ISA is dragging my grade down quite alot. People that cheat get high marks which drive the grade boundaries quite high. For the AQA chemistry ISAs the grade boundaries are always so high. I wonder why.(Original post by Junaid96)
This is SO true! Our teachers said they're not allowed to give us feedback on our previous attempts etc. yet it turns out people from some schools were practically given the answers!
Answer to the thread starters question, I've finished C3 and I'm still working on the rest.

Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision?I agree with this!!(Original post by -Illmatic-)
Not far enough is the answer
Also: I cant reply to you... -
Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision?Eugh it really sucks, non? I hate ISAs with a passion. I can't think of many people I know outside y school whose schools don't cheat in their ISAs(Original post by Wick3d)

Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision? One week is a long time. I would re-do the past paper and see carefully where my mistake was.(Original post by Chaofan88)
okay guys, so I just did my first past paper for chem 4 and justt about scraped an A (maybe a high B with very harsh marking, but no lower). Do you think I can work my way up to an very solid A/A* in 1 week and 5 days? I'm aiming for A*
I've been trying to do revision but i procrastinate too much. If i pull it together i may just manage to finish all my revision in time, just!
Maths: so far i have done partial fraction, binomial and parametric equations. If anyone is struggling this site is very useful - http://www.examsolutions.co.uk/ and khan academy too.
Chemistry: Done most of my notes so just need to get it in my head and do questions.
Biology: Kinda ****ed! but i'm trying to do notes.
I do aqa for maths and ocr for the other two. -
Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision? Thanks for this, made me feel a little more reassured! Just did another Chem 4 papare and got an A* (or high A with v. harsh marking), so I'm feeling a little better. Gonna try and push it up to full marks so that when the real thing comes round I'll hopefully get an A-A* :/(Original post by ao_mango)

When's your bio exam? I feel a bit worried about biology, I have to say

Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision?
next exam in 11 days
Already had 3
M1 - roughly 90-95 ums (retake used to be 69ums)
S2- 78-83 ums
D2- (depending if my method had no mistakes) 90-97ums
So I have definitely got an A in Maths A level if this is what I've got with 2 more Maths A Level (resists) exams to go
C3 (resit was 90ums ... I wanted to make sure I got the A
)
C4 (resit 69ums)
FP2
FP3
I need an A in both Maths and Further Maths, at minimum I have an A in Maths with D1 and S1
so if this is the case I only need 70 ums in both FP2 and FP3 to get an A
I'm pretty confident ... too bad my other A Level is all coursework and sucks mega ass so I had no motivation and did no work so I have a C ¬¬

Not far enough is the answer
THIS ^
Erm History: Will try and force myself to start tomorrow
Maths: its sort of one of those subjects you don't revise for. Once you know the method you can't really forget it...
Economics: Erm it's aaaages away (ok like 2 weeks and a bit) so I'll worry about it nearer to the time. But most of the content I remember from lessons so I guess I just need to read a bit more -
Re: A2 students: how far are you into your revision?Ahhh good luck! When are your exams?(Original post by Rizzy J)
started revision an hour ago
i am soo screwed but luckily its half term so early mornings and late nights, hopefully will be paid off
That's great- sounds like you're in a good position for an A(Original post by JordanS94)

When are your exams? I wish I ahd your cool- if I started revision now I'd probably be hyperventilating in some corner alla foetal position. Haha, I get stressed about exams (whodoesn't).
As for just keeping progress I'll write how it's progressing:
Chem 4: okayish- covered all content, need to go in a bit more depth over stuff I find harder and practice papers. Did a practice paper last night, got an A8+*. boom. (1 week 1 day) :O
Chem 5: covered spec, but still unsure of many things
Aiming for the A* so need to do a hella lot more revision
Bio 5: gone over spec a couple of times, made notes but need to get everything into my head properly and try some more past papers (tried one a month ago, got an E, tried another and got A*/almost full UMS). Aiming for full ums
Bio4: not really done too much- went over spec and notes a while ago (it's a retake). But feel fairly confident
English lit: need to finish notes and qoutes. Done several past papers, average mark=high A/A*. Not too worried as I need a C for an A overall and 83% in exam for the A* -

As for just keeping progress I'll write how it's progressing:
Erm I generally just don't get stressed about exams and I did January modules and coursework which really eased the pressure
Also, I really think it depends on what subjects you do. Biology and Chemistry has so much more content to remember than say arts/humanities! Well, after seeing my friends re-write their whole textbook in notes it seems that way.
I've had 2 so far which were Maths (D1 and FP1) which went pretty well, and my next is on the 12th, last on the 21st
But it sounds like you have got it all covered too! Just try and stay calm and good luck
On the other hand, I've fallen back into my late night/morning sleeping pattern and went to sleep at 430 from sheer procrastination. Erm :/ -

unhelpful as I learn better in the morning and am shattered come 2 am..

Ahhh you're so lucky!! Saying that, I got full marks in my English lit coursework this year so I only need a C/high D for an A overall and 83%/low A for an A* which makes me happy (yet, I'm still stressing)!
I think I should be fine for AAA-AAAA as I need a B in bio and a C in English for the A overall, and probably have an A in art already (although I slacked in art loads this year so it won't be too unexpected if I come out with a B :/) . Chemistry is a bit trickier. The problem is the A*s, they're just so much harder to get and my bio isa let me down loads which means I need basically 100% in both modules for an A* in bio
Which subjects are you taking?
Hahaha, sleeping to procrastinate....at least you'll be energised
