Accommodation wanting 1st rent before student loan
How do people go about affording to pay for accommodation when before your student loans come in?

    http://www.cassandclaredale.co.uk/

For example this accommodation wants you to pay £1700 on Saturday 15 September! Meaning people won't have any money until the week after. So does this mean that this accommodation is only seeking rich people? with rich parents? Its funny how they advertise 'cheaper' then the alternatives and yet they offer a much better price plan.

Sometimes they're okay with you paying a bit later, but thats usually if you go through a landlord and not an agency. Most people borrow money or use their overdrafts.

This is why it is a good idea to go with a bank offering a good sized interest-free overdraft. The money goes out of your account putting you into your overdraft, then your loan goes in a week or two later and it's as if you had your loan from the start.
