WJEC A2 Geography G4
It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.
They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.
All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.
What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more... -
Re: WJEC A2 Geography G4What do you think of focusing most learning on sustainable cities and water, as these are the two topics not in the resource booklet?(Original post by psyaddict)
I will be doing this exam middle of June and am really worrying about it. I was just wondering has anyone got any revision tips/hints, good case studies or any information on how to write grade A answers?
Many thanks

Re: WJEC A2 Geography G4Yeah that's what my teacher has said, he said the material in the booklet (food and energy) can be used to answer the 10 mark questions and the one 25 mark question, then the section B 25 mark question will be either on cities or water. I hope there's no awkward/funnily worded questions that will confuse me! :/(Original post by gpgill)

Re: WJEC A2 Geography G4I have been using a load of case studies like Murray Darling, Turkey, Israel, South East UK for water. Then Meixco City, Curitiba, Chongqing, London and Mumbai for cities(Original post by gpgill)

Re: WJEC A2 Geography G4Wish I could do that!!(Original post by UWS)
I haven't even started revising for this... I'm really going to fail lmao... I'll probably revise a few case studies overnight and BS my way through to a B like I have for the past few exams.
Well, good luck everyone

How did everyone think it went?
Pretty well!
What did you write for the last question? I talked about issues surrounding the Murray-Darling basin in Australia and talked about strageties for sustain water supply, not sure if that was exactly what they were looking for but I think I did enough for 40 UMS lol, would be enough to get my B.
How did you find it? -
Re: WJEC A2 Geography G4
I found the questions fairly straight forward and was so, so glad cities didn't come up. I found 1,2 and 3 fine but waffled a bit in 4, and then sat and had a break for a bit in time for 5 not to come out as a shambles. I'm glad development came up because I find it easier to link everything to debts and trade and politics to make more organised points. The time seems to fly by, doing 5 essays in 1 hour 45 minutes seems really tough.
