I have researched and this doesn't exist yet, as far as I know? Show me some comparable sites so I can add to my research. I realize LinkedIN provides a solution but are you in love with LinkedIN? Does it allow you to do anything other than look for a job or connect with collegues. It is starting to offer apps now but they seem to be added on as an afterthought. Now if you are established in your profession and you achieve everything you set out to do... well then my site is not for you, unless you want to give back and mentor someone

Here is a summary of what I am trying to do. I am investigating if a social network is needed that separates acquaintances, associates, colleagues etc within your career, classroom and community from your usual social network. (i.e. facebook). It would contain tools that would showcase you and your contributions and accomplishments within your career, classroom and community.

As well as sharing accomplishments you will be able to connect with others whom share similar goals, collaborate and give each other support in order to reach goals and milestones… with the ability to share the experiences you gained in reaching those goals with others, as a mentor. I have some mechanisms in mind in order to make this happen (the secret sauce).

To summarize, it is a place to share what’s best about you, within your whole social environmet, with others… probably best to share the weekend photos on FB instead of here. Now you don’t have to fear adding your boss and they can actually see more than just your name. Might be a great way to send them subtle messages like “Goal: to be running this place in 6 months!” Ok that might not go over well but you get the picture. There is a little more to the site then that but that is the general premise.
