I am currently getting paid £10,000 per month working as a PA for my parents.

So would expect at least £50-60k per month (plus bonuses) as I grow older and at the peak of my career.
im going to call bull**** here...

£45k per annum, or roughly £3500 per month.

Anything more than that would be unnecessary as far as I'm concerned (£45k is easily enough to live more-than-comfortably), and the jobs that would earn me higher salaries would require more work effort. £45k would be the best balance imo, and I'd be happy earning that as a peak salary.

I'm asking per month, not per year!
I know. CEO of a decent company makes something along those lines.

    10-15k a month. 10k a month is do-able fairly easily, 15k would probably be a stretch

A bit of a reality check for you high flyers out there:

There won't be that many of you earning 6 times the UK average salary. Sorry.

Why would 120k a year be 'fairly easy', but 180k be a 'stretch'? I mean, any of the limited number of jobs capable of paying 120 a year could probably "stretch" to 180, no?

Was referring to dentistry, and yes 180k is possible as a dentist, but is pretty uncommon, 120k is do-able as a private dentist with a good amount of experience

Dentists earn low six figures, and still have the highest suicide rate of any profession? I guess money really can't buy happiness...

Too bad doctors have highest suicide rate (sad really, stressful job).

That is a myth they actually have a normal suicide rate.

This is an age old BS myth, physicians have higher suicide rates than dentists. I don't see how you could be suicidal earning 100k+ and working <40hr weeks

I'm not talking starting salaries, I'm talking maximum wage, At the height of your career what wage would you expect PER MONTH (assuming it be monthly pay)

I'll start, for me, £1500 per month.
It depends hugely on what I go into. If I go into teaching/criminal law, then perhaps 10K a month as a successful headteacher/judge. If commercial law/banking then far more than that, but if academia then less than that. I have no idea

Guys, guys--if you're going to get so worked up about such a small mistake, you'll be the ones needing a physician.
