    Quick questions about student finance
What happens if I apply for student finance- and dont make my offer- or for some reason decide not to go to my firm? Do I still get my loan?

And also, if I meet my offer but decline to start the course for some reason, can I cancel?

    Thanks for any replies

The loans only go through if the univeristy confirms your attendance, if you decide not to go to uni then phone SLC to let them know your not going

If you don't go to uni you will need to call SF to let the, know or it may cause problems should you wish to apply in future (eg they may think you're on your 2nd or subsequent year, but just didn't take finance).
