hi, just joined the student room because i was wondering if anyone has been offered any midwifery places for sept 2013 that applied this year, this is what happened to me as they said i could benefit from a years life experience but still wanted to offer me a place. anyone else?

That last bit doesn't make any sense to me ^^ You have been offered a place because they thought you could benefiy from a years life experience? Perhaps

Anyways I have seen at least one person doing midwifery, have a look around the forum and scroll through the threads
