Re: The JubileeNot sure of the details but since she was crowned in 1953, I suspect the jubilee is a celebration of her accession not of her coronation.(Original post by fuzzybear)
Does anyone know why the main jubilee events and ceremonies take place on sunday and tuesday, the queen was coronated on the 2nd of june which is today. I just thought it would've been more fitting to have the main events today. Anyone know the reason to this?
