    Withdrawing application
I think I know the answer to this one but just to confirm:

I'm currently holding out offers and haven't picked my universities yet. The thing is that my circumstances have become very unstable at best (financially speaking) so there is a huge chance that I'll have to withdraw, eventually.

Here's the catch: I have studied only for my going in the UK. It's not a problem I won't miss the year I still can take the exams in my native country. I want to study Law and in my country it requires exam in my native language and History.

The thing is that I may not make the cut for Law because I haven't been studying for a year+ like everyone else.

The question: It won't be a problem if I firm and hold my offers till end of August, and then withdraw, right?

You need to tell the uni at least the day before you're due to go. Well, even after would be fine but may cause more problems (with fees and stuff). So yeah, keep your offers until you know for sure what's happening.

Just be very careful about what contracts you sign. If you apply for accommodation then read the contract carefully as it might say you need to pay for the whole year even if you drop out! You don't want that to happen, so don't sign anything until you're sure.
