Money issues after my mums death...
My mum passed away when I was 17 years old and due to her not making a will, the process of selling the house etc took a lot longer than it should have done and things weren't finalised till around 2 years later. My mother wrote down informally who she wanted the money to go to. Due to my age she said there should be 2 people, who she named, to help me with this difficult finanical processes and they should each recieve £1000. My father took over the roll of my uncle who was one of these people for reasons I'm unsure of and I paid the other relative the £1000 and not my uncle. Ever since its been like a dark cloud hanging over everyone, he is asking for his money when I thought the situation had been dropped and I feel nervous around them as I think the money circumstance is going to kept being brought up when I just want to move on with my life (3 years since my mother passed away). I don't feel he is entitled to the money as he did nothing but him and his wife still seem to think he is and they are almost expecting it. Please help This is causing me a lot of stress
