    Probable AS grades
Well, i've screwed up some of my summer AS exams, despite doing well in my january modules, and I am likely to get B's at AS with possibly an A or two. I am planning to resit quite a few of these exams next year, So I am still aiming for AAA at A2.

As long as I get predicted AAA for A2, can I still apply for dentistry this year even though my AS grades will probably be mainly B's? Or will I have to finish my A2's and apply next year? I have good GCSE's and work experience so my application should be quite strong otherwise.

Yes, as long as you are predicted AAA you can still still and be considered for Dentistry, because they place more emphasis on A2 predicted and/or obtained grades.

This might just have been my experience, but on UCAS I wasn't required to put my AS grades, just GCSEs and predictions (the latter input by the school). So I don't see it as a problem at all if you're predicted AAA.

On the other hand, if you're planning to apply to Cambridge they'll not only want your AS grades but the individual UMS marks so your B's at AS would be disadvantageous in that scenario.

Apologies, I was referring to my application there last year and thought it would be relevant. How strange they don't do dentistry!

Since last year all state schools are required to declare AS grades. Though for Dentistry as long as you have at least B's and are predicted A's it shouldn't matter too much.
