    PGCE Primary Placements Warwick
Just wondered if anyone knows if our first placement in September has to be early years, or if it can be in any year at a school?

    Hiya,

I assume if you're doing the Early Years PGCE you should organise your placement in an Early Years Setting as it will be more relevent. I'm doing Primary and have arranged my placement in the age group in which I want to specialise.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks Laura,

I'm also doing primary but had a strange belief that our first placement was with early years - must have heard them wrong at the interview!

    Thanks again,

    Vikki

p.s. Have you received a reading list yet?

I'm not sure, I've provisionally arranged mine in Primary so hoping that's right!
No I've not had a reading list or anything through yet, have you?

Also I've just created a facebook group for people starting in September if you fancy joining
http://www.facebook.com/groups/399643826747821/ thought it would be a good way to meet people, share notes etc! x

I'm a bit worried because I've not got any "pink forms" or anything about targets...was this all sent via an email and if so, what was the email subject?
