Who's hoping to go to liverpool next year? To study what? And which accommodation have you opted for?

I'm going! :-) I've opted for Mulberry Court (thought it was old and cute) and I'm going to study popular music! Oh, and I'm from Denmark, but I've lived in Liverpool before, so really looking forward to going back, it's such a great city!

I've firmed Liverpool! To study English, but I live nearby (on the Wirral) so I've opted to stay at home for the first year and see how I manage with money.

Hopefully History, and I've opted first choice for Mulberry Court. I've heard that the accomodation is dead awkward and you dont often get your first choice. As long as Im not in Rankin Hall im alright!!

I firmed Liverpool to do economics. I will hopefully be staying at D & R. Does anyone know anything about D & R in terms of sociability, comfort and value for money? Also, judging from how I did in my recent exam it looks like ill miss my offer by a grade, does anyone know what the chances are of me getting accepted if I miss by just a grade?

Got to post this, even if I sort of don't belong here :P

I've just finished my first year and no other year of my life even comes close.
It came to me when I was at the archery end of year meal (a sport I'd taken up at Liverpool) surrounded by great people I'd not known a year ago, all of us dressed up eating fancy food on the top floor of a posh restaurant. After the meal we all went out onto the balcony and looking out over the silhouetted skyline I had no doubt that I had chosen the right place to come to uni

Liverpool is a fantastic place to be young, no matter which hall you end up in, no matter the course, this city is alive with it's own culture and welcoming populace. I know nobody who would disagree with me either and I seriously cannot wait for next year

Eeeerm, not sure where I'll be living though. I've heard that the uni sends out some sort of invitations to apply for halls but I haven't heard anything from them. Even if I did get an invitation , I won't be living in halls but rather look for private accommodation. Even so, should I call the uni and ask what the hell is going on there regarding accomm. applications?

I wouldn't worry, I firmed them stupidly early, at the end of November, and I got an invitation to pick my accomodation on the 2nd day they opened it. They do it in terms of first come first served in regards to when you firmed them, as I had a friend who also firmed liverpool, but later on than me and got her invite after me, so I'm pretty sure thats how they do it. When did you confirm your choices? If you did it pretty early, might be worth giving them a ring
