Gary Johnson should win in 2012
    he probably wont though.

Gary Johnson is a better candidate than Romney and Obama.

Romney and Obama are the same thing. Any American who votes for either of these two jokers does not value true American values.

If Ron Paul does not get the nomination then I hope he will endorse Gary Johnson

    Opinions on Gary Johnson?

Gary Johnson is a highly under-rated football manager.

Are you kidding? He was dire at Peterborough, in around something like 20% of games under him, we lost by three or more goals, and his signings were crap. Once Ferguson returned, we were back to playing good football, and back to the Championship.

American Gary Johson is tall, handsome, fit and clever. A true American. An alpha male.

British Gary Johnson is ugly, balding, short, fat and stupid.

There is no chance of this. I don't think you understand Ron Paul's plan. Everything he does - running for president in 2008, running for president in 2012 - is all part of a long term plan to transform the Republican party into a more libertarian one, so that in a future election his son Senator Rand Paul will be able to win the Republican nomination and get elected president. Ron Paul didn't seriously expect to win in either 2008 or 2012 - it was all about exposing more and more people to his ideas and gaining support for his libertarian movement within the GOP(especially amongst the youth).

Now if Ron Paul endorsed Gary Johnson, a third party candidate, it would harm Rand Paul's chances in 2016 and/or 2020. Why on earth would Ron Paul be stupid enough to risk the future of both his son's political career and the libertarian movement within the GOP he has dedicated his life to building, just to endorse a no-hoper candidate like Johnson who has absolutely no chance of winning?

There is no chance of this because his campaign has said they will not endorse the libertarian party, I know this.

Personally I don't like Ron Paul, Rand Paul or Gary Johnson for a variety of reasons, the most important of which is the fact that the last period America was in the type of isolationism they all advocate (1919-1941), all hell broke lose throughout the world - and this would have been avoided if America had played a pro-active military role in maintaining world peace. If any libertarian ever gets elected president and America retreats into isolationism, closing all its military bases and ending all its alliances, then it will be a slippery slope to WW3 breaking out. You really think Russia and China will behave themselves and not military expand if there is no USA keeping them in check? We'd all be ****ed.

Anyway, I'm curious to know - how come you like Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, but not Rand Paul?

Gary Johnson is fantastic, I would definitely vote for him over Obama or Romney. He seems to really care about this failed war on drugs - I never see him do a speech without mentioning the need to legalise weed. For that alone he deserves to be President. (He's also pro choice and not all religious, two things that make him better than Ron Paul.)
